How does Wordle work?
Wordle is a wording game in which you have six attempts to guess the word of the day. With each attempt you have to enter a word from five letters, which is assessed based on the accuracy of the actual answer.
For each word entered, the game gives you information that is displayed by three different colored boxes. If the word letters you have entered contains gray boxes, this means that these letters are not available in the answer. Letters in yellow boxes mean that they occur in the word of the day but are not in the right position. If you finally get a green box, this means that the letter is correct in terms of existence in the last word and in terms of placement.
The best strategy is to open up with a vocal -heavy word. Since there are only 5 (or 6, y), you can easily exclude a few words before throwing your chances away. You can also “cheat” the system by following some of the techniques we list.
