Big Rumble Boxing : Creed Champions

The Rocky series had a second breath in recent years with Creed movies. With Creed 3 who should make his debut in 2022, we took a look at the new game in the hope of taking advantage of the success of the series. Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions does not really justice to the franchise.

The Big Rumble Boxing list is a show to see. He is full of characters from the whole series, such as Apollo Creed, Ivan Drogo, Donnie Creed and the Italian Stallion himself, Rocky Balboa.

After seeing all the familiar characters, this is where the game is deteriorating. The real gameplay is very stripped. All characters play exactly the same way, with the exception of the super unique movements for each fighter. Unfortunately, sports that many consider as art is reduced to crushing buttons.

There are practical checks, such as hitting, countering, blocking and dodging, which would normally give players a range of options on the ring, but they are not very useful in the way you expect a boxing game. There is also no endurance bar or play mechanism to force players to have any strategy on the Ring.

Each character has his own solo campaign to play, unlocking new outfits for this fighter. These stories are told through visual novel type scenes that give a context for fighting. There are also mini-games between the fights that upset the gameplay, but do not really improve the performance of your character or do not affect the coming combat.

Local multiplayer mode is accessible enough for anyone to play and play, but there is no online multiplayer strictly speaking, which is a big disappointment. Beyond the solo campaign and local multiplayer, there is not enough to really keep players invested in Bit Rumble Boxing.
