Diablo: Blizzard moves the game that nobody wanted
In the announcement at the BlizzCon 2018, Diablo Immortal still came across a lot of mockery and incomprehension. After the first alpha tests, the image of the mobile games has even changed as much as possible. So that the game is not disappointed at the start, the release date was postponed now.
Blizzard has published a comprehensive development update to Diablo Immortal. Thanks to the previous alpha phases of the mobile game, helpful feedback could be collected, which now leads to some changes in development (Source: Blizzard).
Especially the PVP mode has had numerous problems so far, which is why the class balance and matchmaking will be revised . On the other hand, PVE players can look forward to a extensive endgame , which will now also include RAIDs with up to eight people.
Diablo Immortal should get controller support
One of the most important updates is the constant work on controller support . By default, the game relies on a touchscreen control, the desire for an alternative input option was aware of Blizzard. At the beginning of the year, the team could not give a promise to do so yet, but now it looks that the support of controllers is definitely in progress.
However, in order to guarantee these features, the planned publication 2021 had to be deleted. Instead, the first half of 2022 is now targeted as a time window for the publication .
